Privacy

The short version: we record which pages and screens you reached, and which country the request came from. We do not ask for your name or your email, there are no accounts, and we never store your IP address.

Anything you type into these sites — a birth date, a height, a body weight, an age — is calculated inside your own browser and is never sent to us. The long version below lists every single field we keep.

Every field we store

This is the complete list, taken from the database that receives it. There is nothing kept outside this list.

sid: A random ID for one visit. Discarded by your browser when the tab closes.
vid: A random ID kept in your browser so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not linked to you, and clearing your browser data erases it.
visit_n: How many times this browser has opened one of these sites.
since_last: How long it had been since the previous visit.
site · code: Which of the five sites, and which version of its first page.
src · ref_host: How you arrived — an ad, a search engine, a social app, or directly — and the domain that linked you. The full address is never kept.
ttclid · campaign · adgroup · creative · placement: Which advert brought you here: the click identifier an advertising platform adds to the address, plus the names it gives the campaign, the ad group, the individual advert, and the surface it ran on. Every one of these describes the advert, not you.
lang: The language your browser asks for.
country: A two-letter country code supplied by our host. We never receive or store the address it was derived from.
ua: The user-agent line your browser sends with every request — roughly, which browser on which kind of device.
first_seen · last_seen: When the visit started and when we last heard from it.
ev · t · props: One row per action: what happened, how many milliseconds after the page loaded, and a short note such as which screen or which option. Nothing you typed appears here.

Why we keep it

For one purpose: to see where people stop. If most visitors leave on the third screen, that screen is the thing to fix. Every field above exists to answer that question. None of it is sold, and none of it is shared with anyone outside the three cases named in the next three sections.

The five sites share one record of you

All five sites currently live on one address, which means the random vid in your browser is the same across all of them. If you open two of the five, both visits sit under one ID in our records. We are telling you because it would be easy to assume otherwise — they look like five separate sites, and in that one respect they are not.

Advertising

These sites carry advertising from third parties, including Google. Those companies place and read their own cookies in your browser in order to choose which ads to show and to avoid repeating the same one. That activity belongs to them, not to us: we do not receive it, and it is not part of the field list above.

Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s advertising policy, and you can turn personalised ads off at My Ad Center. Turning it off does not remove ads; it removes the targeting.

How we measure our own adverts

We pay for adverts on TikTok. To know which advert brought you here — and therefore which ones to stop paying for — every page loads TikTok’s measurement script, usually called a pixel. It reports to TikTok that a visit happened, which page it landed on, and whether you reached the end of a tool.

It does not send what you typed or what you got back. Your answers, your date of birth, your height and weight are worked out inside your browser and never leave it. We have deliberately switched off the TikTok setting that would read your form fields, because several of these tools ask for body measurements and an advertising platform has no business with those.

The pixel sets a cookie of its own (_ttp) so that two page views by the same person are not counted as two people, reads the click identifier TikTok adds to the address when you tap an advert, and passes on coarse interaction signals such as clicks and how long the page stayed open. What TikTok then does with that is governed by TikTok’s privacy policy, not by this one. Blocking scripts for this address, described below, stops it.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no cookies of our own. We use one entry in your browser’s local storage — the random vid above — which stays on your device and is sent to us only as that random string.

If you arrived from an advert, we also copy the advert’s identifiers into session storage, so that moving from one page to the next does not lose track of which advert you came from. Session storage is emptied by your browser the moment you close the tab, which is exactly the point: it lasts one visit and cannot carry an old advert over to a later one.

The cookies that do exist here belong to other companies: the advertisers, and TikTok’s measurement pixel, both described above.

How to stop it

Clear site data in your browser for this address. That deletes the random ID, and the next visit starts from nothing.
Use a private window. Local storage is discarded when you close it, so nothing carries over.
Block scripts for this address in your browser or an extension. The sites still work — every calculation runs locally — and we simply record nothing.
Write to us at the address on the contact page to ask what is held against a given ID, or to have it deleted.

How long it is kept

Visit records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. We keep them that long so a season can be compared against the same season a year earlier.

Children

These sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly record anything from them. If you believe a child’s data is held here, write to us and it will be deleted.

Changes

If what we record changes, the list above changes with it and the date at the top of this page moves. We do not keep a quiet second list.
